What’s the Spokane Fall Folk Festival?

The Spokane Fall Folk Festival is an annual, two-day event that takes place during November at the Spokane Community College. The event is designed to celebrate cultural diversity in the form of music, dance, and other talents, and bring together open-minded people looking to appreciate all these cultural differences. Roughly 5,000 people attend the Folk Festival every year, and numerous parties get involved to raise money to cover the costs.

The event is completely free to the public and often brings together dozens of talented performers from many different backgrounds and genres of music, including blues, Celtic, bluegrass, Asian, African, and more. However, artisans are also encouraged to bring their own cultural crafts and creations to the events, and attendees are free to peruse the selection and purchase items to take home. The Festival Bake Sale is also always a huge hit with its array of baked goods and freshly brewed coffee.

What’s in Store for the Spokane Fall Folk Festival 2023?

The 2023 Spokane Fall Folk Festival is scheduled for Saturday, November 11, and Sunday, November 12th with activities hosted daily between 11 a.m. and 8:30 p.m. As usual, the 2023 Spokane Fall Folk Festival is planned to have a full collection of fun entertainment and activities that perfectly highlight the diverse culture that makes up Spokane.

Multiple events will be taking place concurrently throughout the campus in Lair Auditorium, the Sasquatch Room, the Skitch Conference Room, The Underground, the Cafeteria, and the Bistro Stage. The Festival Bake Sale will be located in the Lobby of the Lair and offer an impressive collection of delicious pastries and foods provided by local merchants.
