JoHanna “Jo”

Owner-General Manager

Jo is the Owner and General Manager for Alkaloid Cannabis Company. Before Washington State legalized recreational cannabis, JoHanna owned JD’s Collective, a medical shop out in Elk, WA. She served medical patients for three years. From her medical cannabis days, Jo is very knowledgeable about cannabis and strives to have the most knowledgeable staff in Spokane to ensure customer satisfaction.

When Jo isn’t at the shop, she loves spending time with her 3 grown kids and 5 grandkids. She loves Soulshine CBD Prerolls but there is nothing better than some fresh ground flower smoked through a clean pipe. In the summer you can find Jo at the lake on the paddleboard with her dogs.

Larkin “Lark”

Store Manager

Larkin has been with Alkaloid Cannabis Company since 2020. Lark was born and raised in Coeur d’Alene, ID and moved to Spokane to work in the Cannabis Industry. Larkin is a Medically Certified Cannabis Consultant and helps patients on their self-treatment journey. When she isn’t at work you can find her in her native pollinator garden. Larkin loves to smoke cartridges and disposable pens but nothing is better than a bowl of some tasty flower. If she could create her own strain, it would be Super Silver Haze crossed with Duct Tape, and it’d be named Super Hazy Tape.

Tyler “Ty”

Purchasing Manager

Tyler has been with Alkaloid Cannabis Company since we first opened. He started on the floor as a budtender and worked his way up and is now the Purchaser for the store. He makes sure we have the best products on the market and is constantly searching for what’s new. Before the shop was Alkaloid Cannabis Company, Tyler lived and worked in the building as an in-home dealer for Cedar homes.

When Ty has free time, you can find him out at the lake. He loves kayaking and soaking up the rays. His favorite strains are Super Silver Haze and Sasquatch Breath. If he could make his own strain, he would cross those two and name it Super Silver Sasquatch. “Nothing smokes better than some fresh rosin and a new quartz nail”.

Daniel “Baby D”

Lead Cannabis Specialist

Daniel has been with Alkaloid Cannabis since 2021 and is one of the familiar faces everyone loves in the shop. Looking for a dab expert? Daniel is your guy. He is all about finding the tastiest dabs on the market. When he’s not budtending he’s chilling with the pups or out exploring a new hiking trail with his favorite hiking buddies, if you have a go-to spot let him know. Give this boy some tacos or wings and he’s good to go.

Aaron

Lead Cannabis Specialist

Who doesn’t love shopping for cannabis and getting a good laugh in while they’re in the adult candy store? Aaron is the Comedian at Alkaloid Cannabis Company and loves telling jokes and making people laugh. Looking for some good oil or flower, Aaron’s got you covered! Pick up some of his favorite strains, Maui Wowie for a good sativa or M.A.C. for a strong hybrid. In his time away from work Aaron loves skateboarding, snowboarding, and relaxing with his two dogs. Stop by the shop and meet our in-house comedian.

Stephanie “Steph”

Lead Cannabis Specialist

Looking for suggestions on the best prerolls? Steph loves to smoke prerolls and has you covered on all the best options at Alkaloid Cannabis. Her favorite strain is Purple Punch, pick some up and try it today. Stephanie has also used a lot of topicals and can help point you in the direction of a good topical. When she isn’t at work you can find Steph playing bass and singing. Steph absolutely loves music, and her favorite bands are Rush, Green Day, and Ghost.

Kara “Kare Bear”

Finding good flower can be hard but Kara has you covered on all the best flower in the shop. Check out her favorite strains like Blue Dream and Pineapple Express when you’re wanting good sativas. If Kara could create her own strain it would be Granddaddy Purple x Mendocino Purple and she would name it Wokesha. When Kara isn’t working she is hanging out with friends and taking her son on new adventures.

Jessy “Jess”

When Jessy isn’t working at the shop, she loves to spend her time being active and outdoors. Make sure to ask her about her favorite hiking spots. Jess also loves doing arts and crafts and showing her creative side. Jessy loves smoking flower or consuming RSO and edibles. Jess has a lot of experience with using cannabis to help with ailments, that’s the main reason she got into cannabis. Stop by Alkaloid Cannabis and talk with Jessy about her favorite products.

Ivylee “Ivy”

Ivy is primarily a flower smoker these days but loves a good pre-roll. Her favorite strains are Mimosa and Grape Gasoline. If she could create her own strain she would cross Mimosa and Grape Gasoline and call it Mimosa Grapes. Cameron “Cam”

Cameron joined the Alkaloid Cannabis team in 2022 and has flourished in the cannabis industry. Cam is a flower smoker and loves the Mfused Balance disposables. Her favorite Mfused disposable is the Tranquility for giving a nice, mellow high.  When she isn’t working Cam loves spending time with her daughter and hanging out with friends and family. First joining the Alkaloid team in 2023, Blaze will be a familiar face to our long-time regulars. Blaze is extremely familiar with the products we carry and the vendors we have on our shelves. Blaze has extensive knowledge about tinctures, topicals, and capsules; however, his preferred consumption method is dabs. Blaze loves a good strong indica like Granddaddy Purple or Purple Punch.
